Building a Golden Knight— Green Platoon is our year-long training program for active-duty Soldiers with little to no skydiving experience who want to become Golden Knights. The program begins with a one-week assessment, and those selected receive orders to the team for a full year of training. During that year, they learn freefall skills, ground operations, safety procedures, and work toward earning their USPA license. Heading into the tunnel is part of prepping them for AFF—Accelerated Freefall
