The #Chinook helicopter has returned back to RAF Odiham safely after a suspected wire strike last Tuesday which forced it to land in a field north of Pembrey in Wales. Engineers from #TeamOdiham deployed to the site and worked hard repairing the aircraft ready for flight. After some comprehensive checks, engineers were content that the aircraft was operating normally. Once the Chinook was cleared for flight, a crew from #18BSqn travelled to the site and flew the aircraft back safely landing home

The RAF Odiham helicopter made its landing ahead of a very special visit to see the children at Happy Trails Play nursery in Shinfield, which is next to an area of land owned by the University.
