People keep saying these alligators are evolving fast out here because nothing else explains why they’re suddenly overrunning the River Center in downtown Baton Rouge with this level of coordination and intelligence that feels way beyond anything Louisiana wildlife should be capable of navigating through concrete tunnels. They found a way into the arena floor and waited for the lights to go down. That is predatory planning, not instinct. I swear the big one in the front was directing the others.
