Still so much controversy and confusion going on about the leap rule! Hopefully I can help clear up some of that confusion. In case you hadn’t heard: a few years ago a rule came out saying that LEAPING is now legal in the pitching motion And please note it said LEAPING, and NOT re-planting/crow hopping, which is still ILLEGAL And there are really 2 main issues with this rule: 1️⃣ so many coaches do not know the difference between a leap and crow hop.
