HEAD-ON COLLISION ON R56 RICHMOND ROAD CLAIMS ONE LIFE ​KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a severe head-on collision on the R56 Richmond Road earlier this morning involving a sedan and a single-cab bakkie. ​The impact was so severe that the vehicles came to a halt 20 meters from each other. Tragically, one person from the bakkie sustained fatal injuries and passed away before help could arrive. The driver of the sedan was treated for minor injuries and transported to the hospital. ​
