A one-in-a-million event occurred in Shapwick, Somerset when a ewe gave birth to quintuplet lambs. Farmer Tracy Lockyer said it was "unbelievable." "The most we have ever had was four, and they were small lambs. So to have five decently-sized lambs is amazing. "We're situated in Shapwick, which is where we have farmed all our life. Exciting progress at Westhay Moor! 🌿 Last winter saw the completion of a two-year project to restore over 24 hectares of peatland at Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve. This work was carried out to restore peat that had historically been subject to drainage and peat extraction — leaving it in a damaged condition.
