TENINO WOODEN MONEY: Loren Ackerman, president of the South Thurston County Historical Society, demonstrates the printing process of the city of Tenino’s wooden money at the Tenino Depot Museum during Oregon Trail Days on Saturday. Tenino is famous for its wooden currency, scrip made popular during the Great Depression that reemerged during the pandemic.
