Where are my nurses, respiratory therapist, friends with trach knowledge… I noticed her breathing pattern change, checked the lines… almost filled with water. I realize a small amount of water is to be expected. But I was told “this is normal” by 2 people, and then 2 other people said “no that’s not normal” Which one is it??? All I know is if your breathing through a tube, and it’s filled with water……we ain’t fish… I did try to get the water out and accidentally knocked a tube off and re attache
